Tableflow Concepts in Confluent Cloud

Confluent Tableflow is a Confluent Cloud service that enables you to expose Kafka topics as Apache Iceberg™ or Delta Lake tables. Tableflow automatically materializes Kafka topics into Iceberg or Delta Lake tables in your cloud storage. These tables can be consumed as external read-only Iceberg or Delta Lake tables (Preview).

Tableflow integrates with catalog services, like AWS Glue Data Catalog, Iceberg REST catalog (IRC), and Snowflake Open Catalog.

You can query Tableflow tables by using Confluent Cloud for Apache Flink® or other query engines, like Snowflake and Trino.
