I updated the year calculation logic so the current year won’t go a year back (this is different than how Github does it). Now it shows the contributions only so far! Check it out: https://github-contributions.now.sh/ pic.twitter.com/BXmceErgea
This thing is not a measure of any sorts. It’s just a fun experiment that I did this weekend so I have an excuse to play with canvas and dates. But thank you for checking it out!

Nice! It's showing 2018 as a full year, with contributions right up to the end – is that because it reads 365 days ago from today as a year?
Yeah. It shows it exactly like Github. The last day in 2018 is today, and it goes a year back (which includes 7 months of 2017 now)
