Got a lot of great suggestions! Actually like this one a lot, "Lost in Compilation" could work too maybe, but yea the reference certainly is more clear with transpilation

Thinking about a name for the Babel podcast! I kinda want "babbling" somewhere (though looks like there many podcasts with it). did point out that it would make you have to use the correct pronunciation 😇 Babbling about JavaScript, Babel Babble.. suggestions? 🗣

Need to set up the boom arm but adding this pop filter makes me feel more professional haha (and it was like <$30 for both)? Don't need to upgrade too much yet, thanks to and others for the advice earlier

Would it be advisable to get a pop filter/boom arm (just using a cardioid mic with a stand to record)? Doesn't seem too expensive either

Amazing thing about open source guilt is that it can be mostly self-imposed. Don't owe anything to anyone yet I choose* to take on (unintentionally at first) responsibility which can easily lead to burden/anxiety due to a lot: no boundaries, proving self-worth, pride. it's hard😄

This would make a great show wouldn't it? (seriously though, we do need help with organization and workflow like many oss projects 🙂)

Wrote up a longer update for January on Patreon: mostly on ideas of the maintainer/Babel podcast and intro to the first episode! Thanks for all the support

Do you maintain an open source software library that is: - used by professionals for their work - but you’re not making any money from it, or you’d like to earn more? If you’d like, I’m happy to sit and brainstorm business strategy with you. Just intro yourself in my DMs.

Would you rather have 1 long episode or multiple shorter episodes for a podcast (with the same guest)? Not sure it matters, and separating it is more work

Also planning to startup a Babel podcast soon (separate from my maintainer podcast). Hoping to chat with our core team, TC39, and other community members about history, process, language proposals, open source. Anything else?
