Marco Schwartz
Marco Schwartz is an electrical engineer, entrepreneur, and blogger. He has a master's degree in electrical engineering and computer science from SupΓ©lec, France, and a master's degree in micro engineering from the Ecole Polytechnique FΓ©dΓ©rale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland.
He has more than five years' experience working in the domain of electrical engineering. Marco's interests center around electronics, home automation, the Arduino and Raspberry Pi platforms, open source hardware projects, and 3D printing. He has several websites about the Arduino, including the Open Home Automation website, which is dedicated to building home automation systems using open source hardware.
Marco has written another book on home automation and the Arduino, called Home Automation With Arduino: Automate Your Home Using Open-source Hardware. He has also written a book on how to build Internet of Things projects with the Arduino, called Internet of Things with the Arduino Yun, by Packt Publishing.
Samarth Shah
Samarth Shah is a software engineer by profession and maker by heart. He leads maker activities at Pune Makers and heads Infosys Robotics Club. He loves building creative/innovative prototypes using the latest hardware/sensors (Raspberry Pi, Arduino, Kinect, Leap Motion, and many more) and software. He has given talks at various national and international conferences. He has authored a book on Raspberry Pi entitled Learning Raspberry Pi, Packt Publishing. During the day, he works on various data visualization techniques and UI frameworks. At night, he does blogging, reading, writing, and many more things. Adith Jagadish Boloor
Adith Jagadish Boloor was born in Mangalore, India. He grew up tinkering with toys and gadgets that kindled his interest in how things work. His admiration for science and technology, specifically in the fields of robotics, 3D printing, and smart systems, grew into a passion that he is working towards, nurturing it into a career. He completed his higher studies at Purdue University, USA and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China and is working towards obtaining a masters degree in robotics.
Adith has experience working on robots ranging from simple obstacleβavoiding robots built at home to complex humanoid robots such as the Darwin-OP in Purdue University's research lab. He has coauthored a research paper and has two patents on his name.
He enjoys traveling and grabs every opportunity he can to explore the different parts of the world. He is also an international chess player.
Utsav Shah
Utsav Shah is an instrumentation engineer who loves to work on the latest hardware as well as software technologies. He has been featured on India's leading website http://yourstory.in and Ahmedabad Mirror (Times Group) for his research work on "Converting sign language into speech" using a Leap Motion controller. Apart from his regular work at Infosys Limited, he manages activities of Infosys Robotics Club. In his leisure time, he loves to read books and work on cutting-edge technologies.
