Ookay. 😃 Well:

  1. The code needs to match with what's described in the written tutorial
  2. I'm not exactly sure how this is an improvement in the eyes of a novice. Sure, it's more concise and more like what an experienced programmer would produce, but I think the compressed lines make it harder to understand the flow of what's happening for novices.
