Apparently this "quote" actually came from a Russian drama during Soviet era. The character who said this "quote" claimed it came from Confucius, and the misattribution stuck since then.

I think the best one would still be Tao Te Ching, given on the context.

The Tao that can be told is not the eternal Tao. The name that can be named is not the eternal name.
