Hi, I'm Kashif 👋

Software Engineering student at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, NB. Graduating fall 2027.

Most of what I write is Python or JavaScript, but I'll pick up whatever a project needs — C++, SQL, Racket once for a course and never again by choice.

Stuff I've built that I actually like

  • AI Adoption Assistant — Flask + Anthropic API. Helps teams figure out where AI actually fits in their workflow.
  • Shinobi Souls — a 2D survival game in Pygame. Souls-inspired, obviously.
  • PatientCare API — Node/Express REST API. Started as a class project, kept going.
  • Anime Tracker — Python/Flask + the Jikan API.

What I'm currently doing

Job hunting for a summer 2026 co-op (mostly around the Maritimes), shipping side projects, and slowly chipping away at Elden Ring Nightreign between assignments.

Outside the terminal

  • Soulsborne games fan, games, anime, graphic design, and cooking. 100%'d Witcher 3, which I will bring up in conversation uninvited.
  • Black coffee any day!
