Senior software engineer at Great Expectations, based in Ticino, Switzerland. I joined the founding GX Cloud team in 2021. Most of my time now goes to agentic AI systems — both for maintaining the open-source library (~30M monthly PyPI downloads, 11.4k stars) and for LLM-powered features in the cloud product.

Before software, a decade performing on lutes and guitars across the US and Europe.

Side projects

History Atlas — open-source web application correlating historical people, places, and times in an interactive map and event feed. Two ingestion pipelines feed it: a self-hosted Wikidata instance for mass entity extraction, and an Anthropic-API-driven pipeline that mines structured events from scholarly historical works.
