Extracting the serial.jar file manually from the portable version's zip file of 4.4.7 can solve this problem, but I still hope the official can fix it as soon as possible.

I provided two working examples of this as a workaround until there is a fix.
If you copy it to Processing 4.4.8, where it is missing, it will work.
